paula Project 5

  1. Watching the video it helped keeping things in order and previewing often when adjusting colors and clarity of images. the vignetting really helps cover up items in the outer parts of images.
  2. Developing basic white balance and sharpening presets will help when editing groups of pictures.
  3. i used the dodge, burn or sponge tool to soften and correct mid tones, enhance colors, and highlight areas of faces.
  4. Choosing healing tools depends on size and color surrounding the spot to be retouched, such as using the spot healing to cover up a blemish or the patch tool to remove a logo from a shirt.
  5. The challenge that i overcame was using the camera raw white balance and getting rid of a lot of red noise that seems to come from pictures from my camera. I have found adjusting the exposure and recovery and not overdoing the saturation solves this problem.
  6. the keyboard shortcuts are continuing to grow 'P' during camera raw to toggle before and after my adjustments very helpful.
