Paul T. Williams  PROJECT 7

     The background to this composite is of the Ulyanovsk city photography museum. Author: Vladimir Kropotin: russiatrek.org.  The image required some 'content-aware' fill to remove  some wires and imperfections.
     I used the pen tool to map out a selection path for my friends '53 Chevy Pick-up which also required a selection path for the trucks shadow.  I also removed his Logo and contact number from the side of the truck box and with a perspective crop and pasted in my own.
     I decided to fill the right side of the image with a 'pen tool path extraction' of the screwdrivers ( which were created by me with Solidworks software) .
     I laid out a path for some text and inserted a label and border.With these images I did not feel it necessary to alter their light levels, color intensity or shadowing.

My prefered text creating method in Photoshop at this point would be useing the text tool (horizintal or vertical). I have to say however, the path method might prove to be better witrh more experience.

The pen tool for creating defined boundriers and making selections is less frustrating than the quick select tool and others because you can define interior corners with much more accuracy. That said, the quick select tool and othe selectioon tools can be faster.

The 'keyboard shartcuts I use repeatedly are; ctl / +, ctl / -;  [,  ],; ctl /t;
