Project Eight

1. Discuss your experience using rulers and guides.
They are helpful but I need more practice
2. What was your favorite filter combination? How did filters contribute to your results? Did they improve or distract from the result you desired?
Frankly the filters in such quantities were frustrating. Everything just got busier and busier looking. I am partial to the film grain filter. mixed with the fx. That made my little garden gnome look like he was part of the logo.
3. Describe your experience using Smart Objects and the editing process.
Everything is a smart object now. I like how it keeps the destruction of originals to a minimum.
4. In your second composite, please describe your favorite features you used to create this advanced composite. How did you challenge yourself in creating your results?
I actually like my other composite better. This just kept getting busier and busier. I had to balance the gnome with a lot of green glow. I put a another filter on the faerie ,  that I liked, (I think it was an ink blot) but it didn't fit with the rest of the composite. The tattoo was cool, but it is so large that it really takes over and sets the theme for everything else. The only thing I like on this is the logo. Its for my favorite Oregon Summer Nerd Fest. I worked on this for hours actually. And I am disappointed. I learned a lot though.
5. What keyboard shortcuts are you using regularly now?
F7 and Alt+C+i
6. Add link of your completed web page to your blog
