Paul Williams - Project 2

Project 2 is complete.

As I said earlier this term; I have never blogged. I am use to links that go directly to something or at least are user (old school user) friendly enough to say "POST TO BLOG". With the links that I have available to me, Where can I find these statements?

     1. Cameras Raw: A very useful tool when working with the levels of intensity saturation and balance of color. These tools can be found  in other programs such as Paint Shop Pro and Gimp but all in one place is very handy and a time saver.
     2.  Cropping an image is wholly dependent upon the purpose for the removal of aspects of the picture:  Eliminating background to enlarge a specific aspect of the image, to reduce an image's size while maintaining a specific resolution, centering a portion of an image etc. These images (project 2) specifically, were not cropped for any of these purposes except for perspective and straightening.
     3. I used content-aware in the 'Mural' image and discovered it's limitations relative to to much variance in  combining different content. I also tried to use it with the 'Hebrides' image with some success.
     4. I had to use the clone stamp tool to clean up the areas in the 'Hebrides' image and in the 'Tower' Image to refine some of the vegitation overlay. I also used with much satisfaction the ;'Quick select - copy and paste process.
     5. Again, use is specifically dependent upon requirement. I use what tools I have when necessary to achieve a specific effect.
